Adani Group led consortium completed privatization of Haifa Port
The privatization of Haifa Port, one of the Israel's leading ports has been finalized and completed, Israel's Finance Ministry said in a statement on Tuesday, Jan 10, 2023.
The Port of Haifa is the largest of Israel's three major international seaports has been acquired by a consortium led by the Indian giant Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone Limited (Adani Ports & SEZ) and Israeli company Gadot Chemical Terminals, booth jointly won a governmental tender for USD 1.15.
The deal was completed after the Indian and Israeli group received all Israeli government approvals for the deal, reported by the Finance Ministry .
